These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Linkfolk website and the booking or attendance of any session or workshop offered by Linkfolk, registered at 15 Jalan Gaya, 88000 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. By using this website or enquiring about our services, you accept these terms.

- "Linkfolk" / "We" / "Us" — the workshop and session provider operating from 15 Jalan Gaya, 88000 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia
- "You" / "User" — any individual using this website or enquiring about, booking, or attending a session
- "Services" — the family letter and records sessions, household records workshops, and multi-session programmes offered by Linkfolk
- "Session" — a single or multi-part meeting facilitated by Linkfolk, whether in-person or by agreed arrangement
- "Website" — the Linkfolk website accessed at https://linkfolkork.biz
- "Materials" — printed guides, folder kits, binders, handbooks, and checklists provided as part of a session
2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enquiry form, making a booking, or attending a session, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or have the authority to act on behalf of the booking household
- You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
- You agree to be bound by them
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
3. Service Description
Linkfolk provides educational and administrative sessions focused on family letter communication and household document organisation. Services are offered as:
- Family Letter and Records Conversation (RM 540) — a single session of approximately two hours, with a labelling guide and folder kit
- Household Records Workshop (RM 1,450) — a half-day workshop for up to six household participants, resulting in a draft reference binder and labelled folder set
- Family Records Programme (RM 4,350) — a multi-week programme covering inventory, labelling, scanning checklists, sample agendas, and a final printed handbook
All services are educational and administrative in scope. Linkfolk does not offer legal, financial, or professional advice in any form. We do not make decisions about specific household assets, arrangements, or legal matters on behalf of participants.
4. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information when submitting enquiries or booking sessions
- Attend confirmed sessions at the agreed time, or notify us with reasonable notice if unable to do so
- Use session materials for personal, household reference purposes only
- Not record, reproduce, or distribute session content or materials for commercial purposes
- Treat facilitators and other participants with courtesy and respect throughout the session
5. Bookings & Session Arrangements
- Session dates are confirmed by email once an enquiry is received and availability is agreed
- Linkfolk reserves the right to reschedule a session with reasonable notice if an unforeseen circumstance arises
- Cancellations by the participant with less than 48 hours' notice may result in the session fee being retained or a rescheduling charge being applied, at Linkfolk's discretion
- Cancellations by Linkfolk will result in a full rescheduling option or refund of any advance payment
- Session capacity limits apply as described for each service type
6. Fees & Payment
- All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of any included materials
- Payment details and acceptable methods will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation
- Fees are payable prior to or at the commencement of the session unless otherwise agreed
- Linkfolk does not collect payment card details through this website
- Requests for refunds outside the cancellation policy described in Section 5 will be considered on a case-by-case basis
7. Intellectual Property
All website content, session frameworks, printed guides, handbooks, and labelling systems are the intellectual property of Linkfolk unless otherwise noted.
- You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use session materials for your household's private reference purposes
- You may not copy, adapt, translate, or redistribute materials without prior written consent from Linkfolk
- No materials provided in sessions constitute legal or professional templates and should not be used as such
8. Disclaimers
- The website and services are provided on an "as available" basis without any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose
- Linkfolk is an educational and administrative service only. No content on this website or delivered in any session constitutes legal, financial, tax, or professional advice
- Session outcomes — such as the completeness of a household archive — depend on the participation and circumstances of each household, and no particular outcome is indicated or implied
- We do not warrant that the website will be free from technical interruption at all times
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law:
- Linkfolk's total liability arising from any claim in connection with the services will not exceed the fee paid for the session in question
- Linkfolk will not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from use of the website or services
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury, or any matter that cannot be excluded by law
10. Termination
Either party may end a booking arrangement with reasonable notice. Linkfolk reserves the right to decline or discontinue a session if a participant's conduct is disruptive or inconsistent with the collaborative nature of the sessions. In such cases, fees paid will be reviewed in context of work completed.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will first be addressed through informal discussion. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter shall be referred to the courts of Sabah, Malaysia.
Malaysia's Consumer Protection Act 1999 and the Contracts Act 1950 apply where relevant.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the website or participation in sessions after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
